Cliffs at Tyneside Beach

An experiment with drawing the eye using the saturation of colours inspired by the light striking a building on top of some cliffs at Tyneside beach.

I was very unhappy with this piece due to my lack of experience making appealing low saturation colour palettes. My dissatisfaction with this piece inspired me to create the painting “Greek Riverbed Rocks”, which I was much happier with.
