Who is BOBERT?

Rob Shaw, commonly known as BOBERT, is an artist based in the United Kingdom who is known for his bright, colourful paintings and his constant exploration of new methods and techniques. His work represents the opposite of stagnation, with each new piece making deliberate steps forward in his artistic journey to keep his style fresh and evolving.

BOBERT first started posting his work under the pseudonym in late 2022, when he first began producing videos that showed the painting process along with a discussion of the thoughts or motivations behind each piece. His aim was to not only share his paintings, but also to talk about each deliberate step behind any style which a viewer might see, and to encourage others to evolve their own styles by making their own decisions about their work.
