In this study of a portrait found in a classical art reference book, I attempted to use only white, red, blue and yellow paints.

This limitation made it harder to paint the piece, since I usually take advantage of a wider palette, but created some interesting visual quirks which wouldn’t be present if I had access to the full palette.
