Lake District Light Beams

On a recent hike in the lake district I saw this very impressive sight - huge light rays shining through the clouds over an expansive landscape. I took on the challenge of attempting to capture this sight in a quick study!

I’m not sure I fully captured how the illuminated rays scatter light through them, but I’m quite happy with how the landscape looks - it has more depth than my last attempt at painting a landscape in the lake district.
