Kettle and Glass

In this piece, I was attempting to create an appealing, colourful still life painting of relatively simple household objects.

Some of my earlier paintings were highly realistic pieces depicting shiny household objects like kettles or plates, so this piece was a nice way to revisit the subjects I used to be interested in with a renewed, more expressive set of techniques.
