Buildings from Greece

I visited Greece over a year ago, and while I was there I saw these strange buildings which didn’t seem to have any windows - perhaps a practicality for the hot weather? I wanted to exaggerate the oddness of these buildings when I painted this study, so I edited my reference photo so that the vertical lines of the buildings were parallel, rather than converging due to perspective.

I’m quite happy with how this result turned out, but it made it clear to me that I would need some newer, less frayed brushes if I wanted to paint more highly angular subjects in the future!
