A Friendly Turtle

This painting depicts a portrait of a turtle which I saw one day when visiting an aquarium, painted as the 25th entry in a series where I attempted to paint a new piece every day. I am particularly proud of the combination of colours used in the head of the turtle, giving the painting an appearance which is both realistic and painterly.
